Biography
Dr. Wilson completed her Medical Degree at the University of Manitoba and completed her Residency in Psychiatry at Dalhousie University, where she is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Wilson is also a certified Mediator in Conflict Resolution and completed a Master’s in Medical Education. She has over 20 years experience with community mental health activism and innovation. She is the founder of the Association for Positive Psychiatry of Canada (www.appc.ca) and Inspired Living Medical (www.InspiredLivingMedical.com ). Dr. Wilson has spoken at National and International level conferences, on topics of resilience, inter-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge translation.
